Future MILF Week 7

I think there is something to Lotta’s accidental stacking theory…I had a lot of sinus issues this week, so sudafed was my friend…add in an excedrin for the headache, and I was a puttering/cleaning fool! The upside is that I lost 4 pounds this week, but I think I lost part of Tuesday too…Hey, but at least my floor is shiny!!

A whole lotta Linkin’ Love!~

I have come up with zip, zero, nada to write about…I tried to cut some aprons this weekend, and I was expertly foiled by two small boys who own big chunks of my heart-that’s playing dirty I tell ya!

So, in lieu of a scathingly brilliant post, I am going to share some of the webby goodness I have come across lately…

I am absolutely SWOONING over these amazing pendants…I can’t decide which one I want!

Who knew waxing could be such fun??? (Besides Kevin that is…)

Where I get a LOT of crafty ideas!

Love, love, love, love, LOVE!!!!

What I only dream of doing someday…

The Apron Project, originally uploaded by domesticchicky.

My friend Megan sent me these amazing vintage tablecloths to make aprons and other goodies to sell in her ebay shop. I will be posting my progress once a week or so. If anyone has any ideas or input, I would love to hear it! I was thinking about making aprons, fabric flowers, book slipcovers, ipod/phone cases, and maybe a bag/purse or two…I have a few more pictures of other tablecloths at my flickr site, and will post a lot more pictures of my progress there soon!!

Happy Valentine’s Day!!

 Dijon Pork Chops” />

Last night I made Dijon pork chops from a recipe I found at A Taste of Home. It’s not a recipe really though-I just browned the (well-seasoned)pork chops, removed them from the pan, deglazed the pan with a bit of Chicken Stock, added a heaping tablespoon of dijon mustard, about a cup of half and half, and a bit of wondra to thicken…it made the best sauce/gravy! We made garlic-cheese mashed potatoes, and green beans, and my oldest son had thirds!! This will definitely go into the recipe book as a favorite~
