Always one of the best parts of Blissdom…we always knew he’d go far, but it took The Voice, and Christina Aguilera to show the rest of the world the FABULOUS that is Chris Mann. Funny, charming and the voice of a fairly handsome angel, he has grown before our very eyes into a smooth charismatic performer. A genuinely NICE guy, and he deserves every bit of success he has coming to him.
I was asked to review Chris’ album Roads, which is available on itunes, amazon, etc – but I’m not sure you should listen to it…
(so NOT hard on the eyes)
At least not while driving…
His voice can move you to tears – and tears and mascara don’t mix – not while driving.
It’s a voice that soars in “Ave Maria”, that stuns you in “My Way” (that last note? WOW), that melts you in “Roads”…
This is the album of a romantic evening, a hot bubble bath, a glass of wine…
Out of all the songs, there isn’t one I can say I feel “meh” about – they are all good, all tributes to his amazing voice.
But if you listen to it in the car? Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
My very first, “I knew him when…”!
