While I am up to my elbows in Turkey, cranberry sauce and sweet potatoes, I thought I would share something fun from Disneyland. As you probably know, the president pardons a turkey every year at the white house. What you may not have known is that Pumpkin, and his back-up Pecan, are flown via “Turkey-1” to Disneyland, where they will live in Frontierland’s Big Thunder Ranch. This year, you can watch the turkey LIVE from Disneyland on Thanksgiving Day from 12 p.m.-4 p.m. PST (3 p.m.-7 p.m. EST). Go to www.disneyparks.com, listen for the turkey’s gobble, and then click on the turkey face to access “Turkey Cam” LIVE from Disneyland.

Fun trivia fact! I didn’t know that. Uh, we’re having filet mignon this year. Does that count as saving a turkey?
Happy Thanksgiving to you. I enjoy your blog and I didn’t know that about the pardoned turkey. Neat.
